How many session should I expect?
Yes, one session for relief is possible if the problem is addressed early. Otherwise, follow up can range from a few to several visits depending on severity of the disease and health history.
The good news is the sooner acupuncture is started the sooner the relief arrives!
I tried acupuncture and it did not work, are there different schools of acupuncture?
The Classic text describe three levels of acupuncture.

*Primitive - means, the needle is placed where it hurts. Like dry needling.

*Channel - means, the needle is placed along the pathway of pain. Like trigger point therapy.

*True - means, placing the needle elsewhere on the body for rapid, superior relief .

What do we do if we're experiencing heavy rain and heavy wind?
In heavy rain or heavy wind, do not puncture (DACH IV, 21v). On these days we instead rely on applying herbal medicine and/or moxibustion. Moxibustion is a heat therapy using the artemisia plant, also known as mugwort.
